Beginning November 29, 2021, masks being worn by adults or students while on campus (outside or inside the buildings) in the Franklin County School District will be OPTIONAL. However, masks will still be REQUIRED on school buses until further notice. As always when dealing with Covid-19, guidelines can change anytime. We will continue to monitor cases and make adjustments when necessary. Teachers, students, and staff have done a remarkable job in protecting all involved. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed, and are greatly appreciated. All of us want nothing more than to get back to “normalcy”, and that is our goal.

Student Covid-19 Guidelines August 2021 Due to the recent increase in Covid-19 cases, specifically in schools that are already in session, the Franklin County School District will begin the 2021-2022 school year with the following protocols (These protocols are subject to change at any time depending on the circumstances):

The United States Department of Agriculture has issued a waiver to allow schools to serve meals under the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) through School Year 2021-2022. Through SSO, all students enrolled in the Franklin County School District will be eligible to receive a free breakfast and lunch during the 2021-2022 school year.
