Student Covid-19 Guidelines

August 2021

 

Due to the recent increase in Covid-19 cases, specifically in schools that are already in session, the Franklin County School District will begin the 2021-2022 school year with the following protocols (These protocols are subject to change at any time depending on the circumstances):

 

1. Masks will be required in all school buildings and on school buses (Masks should not contain inappropriate, vulgar, or political messages)

 

2. Social distancing will be required

 

3. Students with any illness should stay at home and be evaluated by a doctor

 

4. Students that are directly exposed to Covid-19 will need to quarantine for a minimal of 7 days and may return to school only if symptom free

 

5. Students that test positive for Covid-19 will need to quarantine for a minimal of 10 days and may return to school only if symptom free

 

6. All indoor areas where students are present, including buses, will be sanitized daily
